Quilt presentation to the Capt

Quilt presentation to the Capt

We are still two hours out.  It’s been one really really long day but we solved all problems and are looking forward to all the up and coming events.  We will be met tonight by 3/8 Marines so they can help us settle in.  The 3/8 will pick us up at 1230 in a bus and we will go out to meet the General and have a base tour.  On Sunday we will sort the 717 plus quilts we have arriving in trailer and 2 SUV.  We will meet at the Jacksonville community on Sunday afternoon to tag and sort.  We are going to Vietnam Memorial celebration early tomorrow with Rolling Thunder escorting. The great thing about this day is The Marines have come though, like the Marines my dad always told me about, Proud, Respectful, And honorable HOORAH.  To all of you out there listening, Thank you for yor support and to our command center #2 at home we couldn’t do it without you taking care of animals, fielding calls, we will let you know when we reach out destination.  Stay tuned   —G
